Ellie Scholl: From Ridgefield Graduate to Aspiring Nurse

Ellie Scholl, a Ridgefield High School graduate and now a nursing student at Elon University, exemplifies determination and resilience as a student with dyslexia. Alongside her academic pursuits, Ellie has also become an EMT, driven by a desire to support and serve her community.

Guided by her mother, Catherine Scholl, a founding member of Right to Read Advocacy, Ellie’s journey is a testament to the power of advocacy and tailored support. Catherine’s dedication to creating opportunities for dyslexic learners has been instrumental in Ellie’s achievements and has inspired her own advocacy journey.

As we honor Dyslexia Awareness Month, Ellie’s story highlights the importance of recognizing and supporting the strengths of every student.
